| From our humble beginnings in 1943, Imperial Machine and Tool Company has grown and prospered over the decades to become a truly state-of-the-art machining, fabricating, and manufacturing facility. While there are certainly a variety of reasons for the success, we feel our simply stated corporate philosophy of “treating our customers, vendors and employees as we ourselves would like to be treated” is the key element to that success. We call this approach the "Imperial Treatment" and it has been standard practice from the very beginning of our business.
In order to insure that this philosophy is carried throughout our products and services, we are owners who are very much “hands-on” managers as well. Most days you will find one or both of us on our shop floor discussing the priorities of the day with the various departments. George has overall responsibilities for production, while Chris oversees sales and outside contacts.We truly make every effort to remain out of our ivory towers and the insulation they bring, and rather enjoy the give and take of the activity of the shop floor.

We begin by investing in the long term and purchasing the latest and most accurate state-of-the-art equipment while always expanding our manufacturing capabilities in terms of volume and complexity. Accordingly our full time maintenance staff follows rigorous daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly schedules to assure our machinery and facilities are always running at optimum efficiency and all scheduled manufacturing delivery commitments are always met.
While we are a machining and fabrication house and our machinery and equipment are the lifeblood of our success, our equipment list only tells part of the story. Integral to our success is our approach to customer service. From the top down we imbue our folks with the clear understanding that while our work pieces and components most certainly need to be “on the numbers”, it is equally important that we be creative and forward looking at all times. Our programmers, machinists, and toolmakers are continually training and upgrading their skills, and the open and friendly exchange of information and new methods among our staff is commonplace.
To us a challenging application is something to be welcomed. Innovative thinking sets us apart from others who are willing to handle more typical operations but shy away from the difficult. As part of the Imperial Treatment we do not simply provide manufacturing solutions within reliable, dependable time frames. We focus attention on every aspect of the process from concept to completion even to include packaging. We cannot overstate the importance of safe reliable packaging as well as suitable containers. We truly believe that the first impression is a lasting one and therefore make every effort to have our shipments be received at their destination in clean clearly-marked packages with the contents securely wrapped and prepared for ease of use.
Over the years one of the most consistent compliments we are paid is how impressed our customers are with our attention to details right down to the wrapping and packaging.
